On October 26, three members of the GSA Running Club participated in the Kanazawa Marathon 2025, joining from our Tokyo and Osaka offices (one member had to withdraw due to work commitments).
The race offered a unique opportunity to experience Kanazawa’s rich history, culture, and cityscape while running. It felt less like simply aiming for the finish line and more like “traveling through the city as we ran.”
Along the course, several “Tabemasshi Stations” provided local specialties such as Kanazawa curry and traditional Kaga sweets, allowing participants to enjoy the region’s food culture during the race.
We were also encouraged by the warm support from volunteers and spectators along the route. Although the rainy weather made for challenging conditions, the atmosphere at the starting line was lifted by an appearance from actress Minami Hamabe, which energized the entire crowd.
After the race, we celebrated at food stalls near the station, enjoying Kanazawa oden and local sake while strengthening connections among members.
We look forward to future events where we can continue to deepen交流 across offices through our Running Club activities.
